The National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) is pleased to announce that it has received a $50,000 donation from RAW Rolling Papers.

RAW Rolling Papers, founded by Josh Kesselman in 1995, is one of the nation’s leading producers of rolling papers. NORML and RAW are aligned in their efforts to educate and promote the responsible use of the plant while also campaigning for the rights of consumers who continue to suffer under prohibitionist policies and social stigmas.

RAW’s generous donation will amplify NORML’s efforts to facilitate the expungement of criminal cannabis convictions, end the collateral consequences of prohibition, and ensure equal access to cannabis for all. This gift will also further the work of NORML’s national Amicus Committee, which files amicus (“friend of the court”) briefs in state and federal appeals cases involving crucial cannabis-related issues nationwide.

This $50,000 donation “will help people being negatively affected by a failed war on this beautiful plant,” said the RAW team. As a socially responsible company and a leading contributor to important social causes, RAW is an ideal partner for NORML’s efforts to improve the lives of responsible cannabis consumers.

For over 50 years, NORML has been a pivotal force in cannabis culture and social justice. NORML is proud to partner with such a transformative company as RAW Rolling Papers. Together, we will fight to end the prohibition of cannabis and shape a future where consumers’ freedoms are protected above all.
